Freezing Tips

Freezing honey :
Drizzle fresh honey into clean, dry ice cube trays, taking care to not overfill them. Place it in the freezer and wait till freeze solid. It will take a little bit longer than water ice cubes. When the cubes are frozen solid, transfer the cubes to a freezer bag and label the bag with date using a permanent marker. Keep the bag in the freezer at all times, except when retrieving honey cubes.

Freezing pizza dough:
Prepare pizza dough and roll out into circular bases then dough wrap in cling film and freeze. When you are ready to bake, remove from the freezer, add your toppings and bake.

Freezing cookie dough:
You can keep unbaked biscuit/cookie dough in your fridge for up to 3 days before baking or freeze for a month. Tightly wrap the dough in clingfilm when storing in these conditions.

Freezing scones:
Scones, can be frozen for up to 3 months. Once fully cooled, wrap each scone in cling film and freeze it.

Freezing leftover sauces:
For an easy weeknight meal, save and freeze leftover sauces from previous meals in ice cube trays. The cubes can be reheated in a sauté pan when you need a quick sauce.
