Cooking with Honey
– When cooking with honey, some of its flavour ingredients will be lost, so use an inexpensive one.
– Steamed root vegetables are delicious with honey.  Stir steamed carrots with 1 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp honey, then sprinkle with chopped fresh
parsley.
– Roasted vegetables, such as parsnips, are always lovely, but drizzling them with 2 tbsp honey 10 minutes before the end of cooking makes
them taste even better.

To get best result with used fat
To get the best result, avoid using low fat spreads as they contain less fat and more water and do not bake as well.

Using nuts in recipe
If your cake recipe calls for nuts, heat them first in the oven, then dust with flour before adding to the batter to keep them from settling to the bottom of the pan.

Dusting chocolate cake tin
Use cocoa instead of flour for dusting a greased tin when making chocolate cake to avoid any white marks on the outside of the cake.

Releasing air bubbles
Once you’ve poured the cake mix into the pan, tap the cake pan on a counter top to release any large air bubbles in the batter.
